As Shop Technician forSouthwest JCB you will be an integral member of our service department. The shop technician will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing various JCB equipment machines and components in shop environment. To include diagnosing, ordering parts, customer and warranty reporting, customer communications and maintaining company assets. The position’s primary focus is to [perform quality maintenance, diagnose, and troubleshoot equipment] while providing the highest level of customer service and satisfaction.
Responsibilities:

- Diagnose and repair equipment and components
- Properly source and order parts to get the repair fixed correctly the first time
- Work in a shop environment on various JCB machines
- Perform preventative maintenance on JCB equipment in a shop environment as directed
- Communicate progress of repairs with both the Service Manager and the customer to ensure top customer satisfaction
- Use of company vehicles and special tooling properly including maintaining all company owned assets in a clean and safe manner
- Completing all paperwork in a timely manner including work orders, parts orders, time, etc.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures
- Other duties and projects as assigned by direct management
Qualifications
Education/Additional Requirements:
- A minimum 3 years of experience repairing and maintaining construction equipment
- A high school diploma or equivalent and basic math skills
- Computer literate with the ability to process information
- Ability to communicate, prioritize and maintain time management
- Capable of accomplishing tasks independently without direct supervision
- Physically able to perform duties and lift to 75lbs.
- Maintain a great attitude toward work
- Adheres to company policies, procedures and practices as required
- Acceptable driving record
- A history of safe work habits
- Driven, self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision
- Valid Driver’s License/Acceptable Driving Record
